Two boatloads of Ethiopians went into seas whipped up by high winds and a tsunami on Monday with 80 feared drowned. They were making the perilous crossing to Yemen, reports the London Daily Telegraph, in the hope of escaping the economic deprivation, persecution and conflicts of their home countries. I notice the incident didn’t make the news bulletins on our ABC during the cricket nor did I notice a reference this morning on the Fairfax or News websites.
