The Age delayed — even if you pay. My partner has a subscription to The Age — she got a “starter’s deal” six months ago. Recently she got a call telling her the price of her subscription was about to go up as her starter’s deal was coming to an end. She agreed that this was understood and accepted — only to be told that she would have to wait for up to a month before delivery could commence. Even though we have been getting it every day for half a year. How is it that her delivery will now end for a month, even though she wants to continue, at a higher price, with something that seems to have been “working”? It’s just plain weird.
