As announced on the Pure Poison Podcast last week, we’re proud to present the inaugural Cut and Paste Trophy for Erroneous Attribution. Inspired by Cut and Paste’s effort last week, incorrectly claiming that blog comments and tweets were representations of articles on the ABC’s The Drum.
What we want you to do is find comments that are wrong headed, offensive, stupid, or simply embarrassingly bad. Repost it here with a link, or maybe a screenshot, and in the Cut and Paste style tell us who’s responsible for it. Yes, we’re actually breaking one of the rules of the internet and encouraging you to read the comments.
Each week we’ll award the trophy to the author and publication who attracted the comment, just the way that Cut and Paste, and The Australian do.
Your nominations please.

We aim to publish comments quickly in the interest of promoting robust conversation, but we’re a small team and we deploy filters to protect against legal risk. Occasionally your comment may be held up while we review, but we’re working as fast as we can to keep the conversation rolling.
