Multiple joys and fearless felicitations for Julia Gillard’s government who, when they decide to act together, are somewhere to the Right of little Johnny Howard and his self-righteous cabinet members.
Of course I have to pay my taxes, but when I see my money spent with wanton abandon on religious matters and supporting Catholic schools, paying for all the Lobby groups, Christian, or otherwise, Seventh Day Adventists; the National Country Party; supporting jumps racing; multiple trips overseas for those over- seas hog- swills so beloved of parliamentarians; supporting the monarchy; paying amateur school religionists teaching in our tax-payer funded public schools. And all the other dreams of Right-Wing Conservative governments, I feel, come an election, I may as well stick a pin in the ballot paper.
Have a lovely political party, FD…..Oops, I meant a lovely Budget Party.

The two joyous bods (to the right) in frame #1 are an inspiration to us all with their unbridled glee.
I note our cartoonist shunned bananas today but, under the editor’s keen and critical eye, quietly slipped in a cantaloupe. You’re a sly one, Firsty.

I welcome the inclusion of baby otters into the budget process.

I’m so apathetic that when the Swan is starting his speech I’ll be lying down getting poked by little pricks – acupuncture ones.
