I worked at this function as a photographer. My first thought was that I should photograph this, my second was that no, I should show mercy and my third was that it doesn’t matter a damn anyway… there were so many camera phones going off the dance floor was lighting up like Alan Jones’ switchboard.
As well as Campbell, Kate Jones (Qld member for Ashgrove) put in a very creditable performance on the dance floor – given that Ashgrove is the seat he’s gunning for I suspect she didn’t want to take a backward step.

Nah, he’s fine. Bit self-conscious, but a perfectly acceptable boogie.
He doesn’t think he’s a great dancer and isn’t trying to show off in any way. It’s a standard four-beers-down pub pop groove.
