  • Main Channel: Seven won with 32.4% from Nine on 17.5%, Ten was on 16.6%, ABC 1 was on 9.8% and SBS ONE finished with 3.5%. Seven leads the week with 23.5% from Nine on 19.5% and Ten with 17.5%.
  • Digital: GO won with 3.3% from 7TWO on 3.1%, Eleven and 7mate were on 3.0% each, Gem was on 2.4%, ONE was on 2.0%, ABC 2 ended with 1.8%, ABC 3 and SBS TWO ended with 0.6% each and News 24 was on 0.55. That’s a total FTA share of 20.3%. GO leads the week with 3.7% from Eleven and 7TWO on 3.2%.
  • Pay TV: Seven (3 channels) won with a share of 32.8% from Nine (3) on 19.8%, Ten (3) was on 18.4%, Pay TV (200-plus channels) ended on 12.1%, the ABC (4) ended with 10.8%, and SBS (3) finished on 3.4%. The 15 FTA channels had a total TV viewing share last night of 87.9%, the 10 digital channels had a total share of 17.4% and the five main channels, 70.5%.
  • Regional: Prime/7Qld (3 channels) won with a share of 38.8%, from WIN/NBN (3) on 22.8%, SC Ten (3) was on 20.1%, the ABC (4) ended with 13.4% and SBS (2) was on 4.9%. Prime/7Qld won the main channels with 31.4%, with WIN/NBN on 17.2% and SC Ten was on 14.9%. 7TWO won the digitals with 4.1%, from GO on 3.4% and 7mate on 3.3%. The 10 digital channels had an FTA viewing share last night of 21.1%. Prime/7Qld lead the week with 31.0% from WIN/NBN on 25.8%.

Major Markets: Seven all round: In Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane it was Seven from Nine and Ten. In Adelaide and Perth, it was Seven from Ten and Nine. 7TWO and GO shared the digitals in Sydney. GO won Melbourne and Perth. 7TWO won Adelaide and Eleven won Brisbane. Seven leads Nine and Ten in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. Seven leads Nine and Ten in Perth.

  • Australia’s Got Talent had one of the highest national audiences recorded this year. Nationally it had 3.052 million viewers, with 850,000 in the regions and 2.192 million in the five metro markets.
  • The Block had a national audience of 1.935 million with 423,000 in the regions and 1.512 million in the metro markets.
  • MasterChef had a national audience of 1.761 million with 405,000 in the regions and 1.356 million in the metro markets.
  • Dinner Date Australia surprised in the regions with 451,000 at 9.30pm, which put it ahead of The Block and MasterChef As a result it had a national audience of 1.5623 million, with 1.112 million in the metro markets.

TONIGHT: MasterChef and The Block on Ten and Nine respectively. Nine also has episode three of Total Design. Will it survive tonight? Spicks and Specks on the ABC. It’s the final of the disappointing Angry Boys at 9pm. Seven has another moderate night, as does SBS.
