Firsty, you’ve hit a nerve here. For some years now I have had no confidence in John Farnham’s retirement – in fact, a poll is well overdue on how many honest hardworking Australians believe in the alleged retirement and how many deny its existence. We’ve had polls on everything else so let’s have one on something that’s actually relevant.

It’s only a matter of time until Joe Hockey announces he intends axing BOM. But the announcement I’m holding out for is when he sacks the Commonwealth car drivers…

The rhetoric is pitch-perfect. How can you make a cartoon so shouty and breathless at the same time?

How is it that thousands of people can spend up to 2 weeks driving around the country demanding the government resign. Silly me thought they were broke because they couldn’t send cattle, to be tortured, for a few weeks. Seems to me they don’t have much of a problem if they can do that, or they should stop living off the taxpayer and get a job. Perhaps they are retired, well that means they don’t pay taxes any more and should get out of the way and let the rest of us make a living.
All in all a group that is seriously contributing to global warming through emissions from the behinds of the trucks and their own! Can the ACT do them for
1 noise pollution
2 loitering
3 being pig headedly stupid (sorry pigs)
4 consorting with abbott, joyce, bishop (both), truss etc etc – in any sane world that must be a crime
