Poor ole Firsty – the highs and lows of fatherhood encapsulated above.
Mother’s Day was invented by a department store owner in Philadelphia, USA, John Wanamaker, as a crass promotional exercise to sell more stock off his shelves. Not sure when Father’s Day began but, basically, I blame it all on Wanamaker.

You need to track if this cartoon dissuades people from having children. It would have done so for me were I not pre-dissuaded.
