Roll away the stone ! I’m betting that democracy’s grave is empty. Wait 3 days……. and then we get eggs made of chocolate.
…well it had all those dodgy-looking foreign friends from the middle east.

FD: Are you alright? You sound so depressed. I would have thought that Oz was one of the last places where Democracy still has a recognisable shape. Of course, if Tony Abbott ever gets to be PM, you”ll be able to kiss it goodbye then.
Common, put a smile on that elegant nose of yours. Have some Bollinger, Tattinger, Krug, whatever. Wuff. Grrrr. Wag tail.

I’m not one of those pedants so I won’t mention the errant apostrophe in panel eight. But can I just say yesterday’s cartoony has gone a bit viral with re-posts in my little cul de sac of Facebook. Classic stuff. And this is fabulous too, in an antimatter kind of way.

This ‘toon has stirred me deeply, Firsty – for, long past, I was callously pushed off the monkey bars in the kindergarten playground. And broke my left arm.
