What is the point of the comparison? I think the comparison is best seen as an insult to Doug Cameron. I know it’s some TV series where it seems the is a great need to illustrate the great Malcolm “f*cknuckle” Tucker has learned use of the word “f*ck”. The filmclip would have taken on a better meaning if someone at the end had shoved a large d*ldo into Malcolms f*cking mouth, and said now beep beep you b*stard!
I concur with Bill Hilliger (above). There is no valid comparison.
Regardless of that, it’s a pleasure to hear Doug Cameron straight talking. So unlike most MPs. It was great TV seeing him grill Alan Joyce at the Senate hearing last month – far more entertaining than the fabricated Malcolm Tucker inserts here.
And Cameron gets another shot at Joyce sometime in the New Year, stay tuned!
Gotta agree with Bill.
Two good performers though – Doug Cameron telling it how it is, and Malcolm Tucker, well, what more needs to be said? Brilliant character work by Peter Capaldi.
I wonder how much support Doug has got in the party though? How many other ALP members feel like this? Not many, I fear.
Had a great time watching another ep’ of Bastard Boys on ABC 1 last night. Sigh. Where are the warriors now?
Where can we view the whole of Cameron’s speech – if only Swan could show that sort of passion?
