With the 2012 TV ratings schedules kicking off this week, we find ourselves in an interesting week in which we see further divesting of shares in FTA television, various executive shuffles, and a report into the very nature of TV schedules themselves. A new survey by Deloitte has found that viewers are still keen to adhere to television schedules as they form habits and ease of program selection. It’s fascinating, if as indicative of viewer behaviours as it may well be.
This week Dan and Simon discuss:
- The Deloitte audience report.
- The passing of some TV greats.
- Lee Anderson returns to Channel 9 Brisbane.
- Fear Factor offers a donkey-based beverage.
- And much, much more.
