Means testing of benefits??? Isn’t that what the socialist government in Australia is doing?
Well, d’uh, Dooby – all governments of all persuasions means test benefits (not to mention other income-related tax stuff like rebates, exemptions, incentives etc). Every scheme will have either cut-off points or tapered cut-offs related to the tax-payer’s income.
And, as a small post script, we do not have a socialist government in Australia – not now and not ever!
