Today Crikey bids farewell to our production manager Leigh Josey, who has been with the publication for seven-and-a-half years. Among many other achievements, Josey became a viral sensation in 2009 for shamelessly strutting around Melbourne in a Snuggie, and discovering it is impossible to wear one while riding a bicycle. His favourite Video of the Day of all time is — inexplicably — Baby Monkey Riding Backwards on a Pig. So to him we say: farewell, Leigh. Get on that pig and hold on tight.

I wish Leigh had written more, I quite enjoyed his pieces on sport. Though they were more entertaining when the Dockers lost all the time. I remember when Crikey had a regular sport section – is there anyone left in the bunker who appreciates it other than First Dog, or is it now complete domination by arts types?
