Around 1000 editorial jobs have disappeared from the Australian media this year, according to the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance — including an estimated 280 from Fairfax and 500 from News Limited. During 2012, Crikey has detailed the flight from Fairfax and migration from the Murdoch stable. Now we’re tracking where those reporters, subeditors and photographers have gone.
