Leslie Nassar created Department of Australia (Hand-crafted, artisanal satire made from the finest Google image searches) in 2014. He was at times a games developer, a producer, a photographer, and a writer. In 2009, he was fired from Telstra for maintaining the Fake Stephen Conroy Twitter account. He occasionally appears on ABC TV’s Insiders with Mike Bowers and Talking pictures.rn rnIn addition to Department of Australia, Leslie is the co-founder of Wrangling Cats Pty Ltd, and created the software that manages the never-ending torrent of Tweets on ABC TV’s Q&A.

Is this a photo from today’s events.
If so it is very curious
The PM is surrounded by West Australians ( Corman, Reynolds & Bishop)
Of the four people around Abbott three are women.
Is this photo an attempt to address Abbott’s lack of support by women and to show that he doesn;t fear the West ( Jensen , Simpkins Randal)

Pav, a similar thought occurred to me on noticing the women-folk were strategically placed at the front of the gaggle. There was a rear shot which showed a sea of blokes in the wake of the ladies who were sharing the limelight with TA. Orchestrated, no doubt about it.
Reminiscent of footage (shown on ‘Insiders’) where TA was cavorting with Packer & other heavies during a 2014 Asian trade mission. When a photographer appeared there was suddenly an urgent rush to find some women-folk (“ladies”) to be included in the vision.

Wow! flanked by persons of the female persuasion with another immediately behind – no misogynist he, clearly.
Oh, I see that everyone else here has made the same point.
