Nine’s night in the metros and although Seven snuck home in the regions in total people, Nine won the main channels. Nine cleaned up in the demos as well, especially in the metros. Ten was weak – weaker than you’d think with Masterchef having a solid night. But Masterchef  did well in the demos as well. Seven’s House Rules also did well and finished ahead of Masterchef  with another whole house reveal.

In regional markets, the top five programs last night were: Seven News, 603,000; The Voice, 577,000; Nine News, 545,000; House Rules, 533,000, ABC News, 447,000.

Cleaver’s week! The great man Cleaver Greene returns to ABC TV on Thursday for Rake at 8.30pm. His return means that with Shaun Micallef back on Wednesday nights being Mad As Hell, all is right in the world of TV. Poh & Co returns to SBS ONE at 8.30pm as well — another highlight.

Nine won last week thanks to the Logies and The Voice.
