It’s official. Today’s California primary will clinch the Democratic nomination for Hillary Clinton, though her Democratic opponent Bernie Sanders has vowed to keep on keeping on, for reasons unclear at this point. But the Democrats have now locked down their challenger to Donald Trump, who seems to needs some challenging.

The presumptive nominee’s Trump University is in legal hot water for being, well, a scam, but he thinks it’s the ethnicity of the judge that is the problem. He tweeted: “I should have easily won the Trump University case on summary judgement but we have a judge, Gonzalo Curiel, who is totally biased against me.”

To clarify why Curiel (who was born in the US) would be biased against him, Trump doubled down“He’s a Mexican. We’re building a wall between here and Mexico. The answer is, he is giving us very unfair rulings. “

House Speaker Paul Ryan said one of the few sensible things he’s said in this campaign: “Claiming a person can’t do their job because of their race is sort of like the textbook definition of a racist comment.”

But he says he’ll vote for Trump anyway. “It’s absolutely unacceptable. But do I believe that Hillary Clinton is the answer? No, I do not.”
