Snore, what’s that? Oh, its Masterchef Australia (1.422 million national viewers), oh, it’s Shaun Micallef being Mad (Funny) As Hell (972,000 national viewers), and the Chasers are still at their Election Desk (956,000 national viewers). Oh well, back to sleep again. The rest of the night was a snore. Do you know how bored viewers were last night? A repeat of Seven’s middle tier program Highway Patrol averaged 1.072 million national viewers. That’s for a repeat.

In the metros Nine might have topped all people and the main channels, but Ten with Masterchef gobbled up some nice demos. In the regions, Seven was again an easy winner thanks to its domination of the most watched list. Seven News was again tops with 599,000, followed by the 5.30pm part of The Chase Australia with 494,000. Home and Away was third with 484,000 people, Seven News/ Today Tonight was fourth with 471,000 and the repeat of Highway Patrol was fifth with 448,000.

Nine scored first in the Roger Rogerson battle with Seven. A 60 Minutes special on Rogerson and his conviction yesterday in a Sydney court (along with another former NSW detective) of murder was rushed to air on Nine at 7.30 last night. It averaged 962,000 national viewers. Seven airs its special next Monday night.

In breakfast Today with 316,000 again beat Sunrise with 302,000, but Sunrise won nationally.
