On cabinet leaks
Meredith Williams writes: Re. “Cabinet solidarity unplugged as leaky government circles the drain“(Friday)
Radio and TV coverage, media commentary, opinion polls, letters, editorials and political cartoons all bemoan the performance of the Prime Minister, presenting a bleak picture with dire warnings. Nevertheless, the Deputy Liberal Leader assures us that the PM is doing just fine, and that most Coalition MPs are behind Turnbull, enabling the Government to role out new policies, launch major initiatives and meet significant challenges. But no examples have as yet been furnished. Perhaps Ms Bishop will dry them off and provide some details in her next riveting announcement. Otherwise it looks like the gurgler for our Malcolm.
