So let it be with the Coalition. From 1969 to now, four Governments (two Coalition, two ALP) have been sacked by the electorate at large for changing leaders mid-term. While the electorate will tolerate changes of Opposition leadership as essential regrouping for recovery, no such tolerance has ever been extended to elected Governments, Q.E.D. Those who fail to learn the lessons of History are doomed to repeat the mistakes. The chooks will come home to roost.
