That last Con is probably not right – a lot of our kids will die quietly like slow-boiled frogs or kids or dogs baked in cars.
A possible con for rich people is that when there’s no food being produced the poor people will have nothing left to eat but rich people. I’m not partial to a rich diet myself but needs must…
A more likely scenario is that should it come to the crunch the rich will “eat” the poor, either metaphorically (sending them off by the thousands to wars to steal other peoples’ resources, like the US is doing to its poor whites, blacks and latinos), or actually, as canvassed (satirically) by Jonathon Swift in 1729. That did cross my mind Iskandar but we outnumber them 100 to 1 so I think we’ve got a chance. And yes the thought was inspired by, among others, Swift.
