Lockdowns | Dan clearly enjoys this subject and puts considerable effort in. Will be in the running for subject prize at the end of the year. | A |
Quarantine | We’ve seen an improvement from Dan this year, though it could hardly be worse than 2020. He has shown initiative to address some of his earlier failings, but must keep up the effort. | C |
Vaccinations | In a disrupted and poorly resourced course, Dan has performed creditably and done everything expected of him, with few complaints. | B+ |
Economics | Good effort by Dan here and he has certainly met all that has been asked of him, though like some other members of the class, he occasionally seems to demand others help him. | B |
Leadership | While sometimes associating with some of the more poorly behaved members of the student body, Dan has led well and been a competent prefect. Appears to have a strong following among a number of students, to the point of cult-like intensity; Dan would be best advised not to let this go to his head. | B |
Conduct | After an extended period off sick this year, Dan has returned to school with energy and enthusiasm. The occasional clash with the school captain could be avoided by both students; claims of “he started it” are unbecoming from members of the school body in leadership positions. Dan should avoid spending time near casinos. | C+ |
Bernards mark for arithmetic is D-
Bernard needs to do better if he does not want to be seen as living in a glass house
The average of his marking for Dan Andrew’s comes out at least as high as B, and arguably B+.
And my mark for English is also a fail – damned apostrophes
Your original may be considered correct, as Andrew’s implies the silent understood “report.”
Mitigated by catching and acknowledging it yourself.
What about full stops?
You’re right though.
Was about to say the same. Not good a good grasp of mean, median or mode Bernard.
Not to mention the result being only half a grade higher than Morrison. Are you freaking kidding me?
Why the low grade on quarantine when quarantine is the resposibility of the vederal government, ergo Morrispin?
Indeed, one could give Dan a higher grade for Quarantine, as it was his House Team (while Dan was on Sick Leave) which got the ball rolling by suggesting quarantine sites near both of Melbourne’s international airports. Sods have been turned, construction is underway
Didn’t just ‘suggest sites’ but put a business case together for the project because the Morrsion Government couldn’t get off its a*se to do a thing. Dutton’s constructive response to the business case was ‘the biggest exercise in smoke and mirrors I’ve seen in my time in government’ before Hunt and Morrison realised exposed they were and supported it. Not hard to see why the feds have stuffed up quarantine, Jobkeeper, vaccine procurement, vaccine indemnities and the vaccine rollout.
The most curious average grade calculation I have ever seen 😀
There’s some undisclosed weighting going on.
The biggest impact of Daniel Andrews’ performance is to have Gladys Berejiklian as a neighbour. When you sit next to someone who lies, blames and distracts to get herself out of trouble, of course things are harder than they need to be. It would be so much better for Daniel if he was to relocate to a different part of the classroom.
Are you marking on this year rather than last year? I think this year the very few quarantine breaches in Victoria have not lead to any lockdowns unlike in every other state. Victoria’s lockdowns have been due to SA and NSW incursions
