Bluey got 464,000 for the morning, 264,000 for the evening, making 738,000 all told, which, when combined, made it the most watched non-news program on free-to-air TV yesterday.

By the way, Nine won from Seven, Ten and the ABC, but don’t worry — not too many people noticed as they were doing something else.

The Dog House on Ten — 674,000 — remains charming. Tonight’s 7.30 exclusive with swimmer Maddie Groves about why she dropped out of the Australian Olympic trials earlier this year again shows that no matter the time of year there’s always compelling news to be uncovered.
