From Murdoch
Lachlan Murdoch’s John Churchill is not an unknown to Crikey. Even so, we were surprised to receive the following letter the day after we published an article about Donald Trump, the January 6 Capitol riot and Fox News.
From Crikey
This is what we replied to Churchill.

So many questions!!
(1) Have I misread or has a NewsCorpse suburban solicitor acknowledged in writing that a Murdoch he identifies as Lachlan agrees Trump did actually commit all the felonies said solicitor has helpfully listed in his letter to Crikey?
(2) As a commenter, am I now joined in the action?
(3) Out of interest what reputation does Mr Churchill think Lachlan and his father have in Australia? He must have been living under a rock if he doesn’t know most informed citizens already rate Rupert and Lachlan’s characters somewhere below “despicable”, irrespective of any help from Crikey.
Churchill refers to Lachlan Murdoch as a “well known Australian”. In what way is he Australian? Born in England to a father that effectively sold his Australian citizenship for his business interests, raised in the USA, and clearly with deep roots in the USA.
I agree with paragraph 2.4 ie. a reasonable reader hears ‘Murdochs’ and thinks Rupert, not Lachlan or any other Murdoch.
