1) What kind of government-supplied car(s) do you drive? and 2) What kind of private car(s) do you drive?

The Greens

Greens spokeswoman Ebony Bennett writes: The four Greens Senators each drive a hybrid Toyota Prius — and none maintains a private vehicle. And Crikey readers may also be interested to know that Bob Brown also sought permission to use a hybrid car many years ago, but was denied because the then-minister for the Environment, David Kemp, wanted to be the first to drive one, forcing Bob to drive a gas-powered car for many years instead.

The ALP

Tanya Plibersek, member for Sydney, says: On order: Toyota Aurion Prodigy — most efficient 6-cylinder car on market. But often I walk to work — my whole family drives about 8000 km per annum between us.
