Another hilarious ad by the Liberal Party mocking Kevin Rudd and the excitement of Kevin07. Or, as they prefer to call him, Kevin O’Lemon.

Tony Abbott was Right (well he always has been, this time more “righter”) – it was only a few days ago the “rolled gold hypocrite” was “warning” us all how much dirtier “this election campaign” was going to get, and down into the gutter, “playing the man”. Of course the implication being that it was Labor that would get grubby – then again with his “contacts”, what’s “dirty” (or funny/catchy when it comes to that?) with “absolution” so dependable and close at hand?
Funny “the media” hasn’t picked up on it?
I’m with Klewso – how on earth do the Libs get away with this hypocrisy and why is crikey giving them free air play for an election ad.
Oh – we don’t like it do we????? Rudd has proved to be a failure on so so many fronts – all talk and so little to show for it, except mailing out billions of dollars to buy voter support.
Would be interested in the comments of the Gruen Transfer on this ad and whether it achieves its purpose.
Rudd is not a lemon but Abbott is definitely a raw prawn as in “don’t come the raw prawn with me!!”
Its kind of clever…but calling it hilarious is a bit of an exaggeration….or were you being sarcastic? Its a long way to the election and my money is still on them getting back with an increased majority. All of this stuff will have been forgotten in a month or so and we’ll be onto the next distraction. Neither major party seem to have long term plans to deal with the looming energy crisis, overpopulation or climate change….the real issues and next crises after the GFC….and the Greens are little more than a protest party with no practicable solutions.
