Pasquarelli – fresh from an appearance in the op-ed pages of The Australian – is applying for membership of the Victorian Division of the Liberal Party. Admin
Committee will meet on Friday morning to discuss his application. Their
recommendation will be sent to Policy Assembly, who will meet that night to
discuss and vote on the application. What inspired Kojak
to try and sign up is unknown. Pasquarelli was a member of the Victorian Libs
in the 1970s before veering off to the right. Pasquarelli
has claimed to be the author of Pauline Hanson’s maiden speech. Do Ted Baillieu’s new look Liberals stand for that sort of thing?
Preselection potboilers. Is NSW Labor Party
general secretary Mark Arbib more interested in Blaxland,
not Barton?
Or whatever’s out that way after the redistribution. There’s a lot of activity
