Er, hello? We do have newspapers in Tasmania, too. And Hobart alone is bigger than any of Townsville, Cairns or Darwin (in fact about thrice the size of Darwin).

Does Laurie Oakes really have a source or is he hiding behind the traditional protection of sources and he doesn’t actually have one but uses the tradition to throw aspersions around. How could we know who is the mudslinger? Isn’t he the journalist who was involved with a scoop interview that was done by a less prominent journalist who was cut out and Laurie was shown on television as the interviewer ?
Tony Abbott said that it was going to be a filthy campaign.

You’ve just gotta love Darwin.
I thought that the old Melbourne Truth was dead and gone. Now I find that it has been resurrected in Darwin.
