It was business as usual in Canberra yesterday, with a real no-brainer
Question Time thanks to Kimbo and the Labor crew. D’oh! Did
they really think John Howard would forget what interest rates were in
1989?
What they should have asked about is Peter Costello’s big idea – if, if
it’s such a good idea that the states abolish some of their taxes, such
as stamp duty, where was the Western Australian Liberals policy to that
affect during the campaign. Might the state divisions and
Canberra differ on the issue?
