Threatening letter at News Ltd HQ. So what’s all this about then…?

Today we were visited by the Police Investigators regarding a threatening letter.

The staff member called the police directly to communicate the content of the letter.

This is not the correct way to handle these matters.

If you receive a written or verbal threat that concerns individuals, employees, company or community, please communicate immediately with your Managing Editor (Louise Evans). News Ltd has an established management system that must be followed plus a threats database.

Please do not communicate any threat to internal or external parties without first discussing it with your Managing Editor.

Kind Regards,

Steve
