What a brilliant and joyous day. What a delight the Tina national anthem was. What a great & gracious Cadel speech in both languages. And all this on the Champs – Elysees. Class, class & more class – Australia has much to be proud of.
How pleasant to hear an Australian speaking french… certainly better than Alexander Downer’s efforts a few years ago! Australian national anthem sung without accompaniment was also quite amazing. For a country which has the most dangerous roads and road users for cyclists this was quite a weekend.
Now , can we get Webber to win ?
