Insider trading may run rampant within companies listed
multinationally, but it would be nearly impossible to trace, reports The Age. And
according to Australian experts, there’s no international effort
to tackle a looming temptation for insiders within some of our most

and the sobering fact for investors is that right now, this is
about as good as it gets, says Malcolm Maiden in The Smage. I would like to be able to tell you that some sort of revolution
is around the corner, but it isn’t. It’s
a slow and complicated process. “There’s no regulatory
wonder-cleanser at hand to quickly erase the market’s remaining,
stubborn stains.”
Telstra forced Australia’s biggest advertising
agencies to work together for five days on a joint pitch for a new
marketing campaign for the company, reports The Australian. On Saturday, some of advertising’s biggest names – John Singleton,

and Alex Hamill – made a presentation to Telstra chief Sol Trujillo and
his newly appointed head of strategic marketing, Bill Stewart.
The meeting was the second part of an emergency summit on Telstra marketing.

of their wealth management operations after $19 billion worth of
acquisitions over the past five years have struggled to deliver
shareholders the spoils of sizeable investments.
