A tip if you would like to expose the shabby journalism rife in the Daily
Telegraph sports department under Phil Rothfield, whose textbook includes the
worst excesses of UK tabloid trash.
Phil’s idea of a campaign is to unleash the garrulous, but gormless Rebecca
Wilson on to a topic. The latest is the battle over Super 14 games between the
SCG Trust & Telstra Stadium.
Rebecca is the champion of the Paddington push, the silvertail eastern
suburbs crowd who think a trip over the Anzac Bridge requires a passport.
Strange, I thought they were all Fairfax readers…
So Rebecca has been thundering with outrage this week. To work out the
stress of the campaign, she can now go to first class gym facilities to sweat
her toosh. Guess where? The Moore Park complex run by the SCG Trust. Rebecca is
the lucky recipient of a new, Gold membership… provided on a complimentary
basis, waiving the $1000 plus fee…
Blatant cash for comment… wonder what she’ll say when she realises a good
friend has ‘outed’ her. Even those who care for her say enough is
enough…
All yours
