Tassie Liberal leader Rene Hidding has given his predecessor, Bob
Cheek, a nice little Christmas present by helping him sell out the
first run of his tell all tome, Cheeky: Confessions of a Ferret Salesman, the Tasmanian Times reports.

Before the book was even published, Hidding was warning about calling in the learned friends. The letter quickly turned up on Tasmanian Times, guaranteeing instant publicity for Cheek.

And while no writs have gone flying, the revelations it contains about
Hidding’s career have done little for his chances on the eve of an
election year.
