Consider yourself a political masochist? Then keep tabs of every new chess move/diabolical u-turn/stabbing motion/headlock in the lead-up to Monday’s spill at Crikey‘s ALP leadership live blog.
The mess wasn’t created by Shorten, Arbib etc. Their actions were a response to Rudd’s dysfunctional management of govt and poor internal leadership. They took advantage of his poor polling to persuade the wobblers in Caucus, but the mess was all Rudd’s. The problem is that Rudd is a man who doesn’t know his limitations.
Why does Crikey persist in excluding the Canberra Times?
The National Capital’s broadsheet surely is as significant as the Geelong Advertiser, or the Townsville Bulletin, (no disrespect intended to these august publications) yet the poor old ‘Crimes’ is never included in your circulation reports, and the front page never gets included in these sorts of montage.
