The Coalition’s anti-carbon tax ad

I trust the fact that when it comes to paying taxes companies will do whatever it takes to reduce the expense. If this tax is designed to improve the behaviours of our worst emitters then we absolutely need it. I’m tired of people failing to recognise that the Gillard government is a minority government -the government voters voted for… The rules change under minority government and instead of arrogant, absolute power like Campbell Newman’s new government, the ALP works toward what is best for the country, rather than just the privileged. AND don’t get me started on the number of times Abbott has said one thing and then completely unashamedly backflipped – without even blinking….
I am tired off hearing Abbott pushing the “based on a lie” line about the Carbon Price.
Julia would have been better to have said right at the start…”Yes… I have had to go against my statement because the only way I can govern, is by making a deal with the Greens and they have made it a condition of support…” That would have taken this stupid mantra away from Abbott.
When is the media going to take Abbott on for the lies he is telling???
This morning on AM Abbott told lies the whole time and whenever Fran Kelly put the facts on the table, he just slid away with another lie on another theme.
I certainly don’t want him to be PM.
One lie is that he will remove the carbon tax on his first day as PM. He will need a double dissolution to do that as the Greens will still control the Senate after the next election. Why does no one pick him up on that??
Desk calendar for Tony’s Carbon Sunday read:
‘What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self? St Luke (Luke 9:25)
What goes around comes around! Pity is that so many souls are the price sacrificed to blind ambitions.
So this is your video of the day and you criticise Labor for not getting its message out?
