Sally Loane has crossed to the “dark side” and joined her
regular Thursday morning group of spin doctors –
taking up the gig as media and public affairs boss at Coca-Cola Amatil in Sydney.
But
what sort of spinner will the former ABC 702 morning host be? From
talking and worrying about childhood obesity to spinning the line that Coke is
not part of the problem and does wonders for the community is
going to be a big leap for her.
As will
talking about shareholder value, transparency of corporate accounts and
explaining why Coca-Cola Amatil should be allowed to buy that little bottling company beyond the black stump. Listening to
her spin the corporate line is going to be a fascinating exercise.
