Coles supermarkets are planning to make 2,500 staff redundant in the very near future.

Qantas reservations
are going to be charging passengers a service fee as of next week.
Travel agents and retail already charge it, so they are saying it’s just
keeping up with the rest. If you want to now change a flight, not only
may the fare have to be upgraded, the change fee charged, but a service as
well on top of that, just for talking over the phone. Domestically
about $5-10, internationally $75, even across the Tasman.
