Prime minister in waiting and union heavy Bill Shorten was spotted
lunching yesterday with Michael Bachelard, state politics reporter for The Australian,
at Melbourne’s Hotel Spencer. Bachelard had his brow furrowed and
notebook out, so it’ll be interesting to see what stories appear in The Oz over the next few days.
Shorten
was also recently seen having a drink with one of Jon Faine’s
producers. Is the lad lining up all the media ducks in a row before
what is inevitably going to be a dirty preselection battle with Bob
Sercombe in Maribyrnong?
