Rourke – I see this as pointing out that both the newspapers here editorialised for a Napthine win, despite all the polls. Their failure to read not only the polls, but the public mood, is lamentable.

The point SusieQ, spot on! the underlining being the MSM, trying again, to influence the polls, with a positive spin for the LNP. Nobody wants to be on the losers side, get with the LNP or look like a goose. Deliberately denying the polls and the public perceptions of policy. Hence all the pushing about first term Governments never losing!
