Another Thursday night, another meal for the Beast (aka My Kitchen Rules), another night, another OK audience for I’m A Celebrity, but why flick Marcia/Maureen? She was the difference between drab, boring effort and something with a bit of celebrity glitz!

MKR had 2.06 million national viewers, with over 1.4 million of those in metro markets. The Block had 1.009 million national viewers, which wasn’t bad for a Thursday night and up against MKR and the closing eps of Celebrity, which The Block beat. Celebrity averaged 942,000 across the ordinary bit and then the eviction at the end — the eviction bit averaged 956,000. But to give last night some context, 7.30 beat both with 1.041 million national viewers.

Seven won nationally in the metros and regionally and easily won the demos. Ten was third in the metros, but a weak fourth in the regions. The ABC was third in the regions and fourth in the metros. I’m A Celebrity doesn’t really do much for regional viewers.
