A rare win in metro and regional markets last night for Nine as Reno Rumble and Married At First Sight finished up. Nine’s programs did well in both metro and regional markets and it was an easy win.
Married At First Sight topped the night in nationally and metro markets with 1.862 million viewers (and 572,000 in the regions and 1.290 million in the metros). Reno Rumble redeemed itself at the death (as The Block did earlier in the year) and saw a big tune-in (over 360,000 nationally) from the boring grand final stuff to the brief winner announcement, which is what Nine would have been hoping for. Nine was also an easy winner in the demos, ahead of Ten and then Seven.
And that was the night. Seven’s once highflying Revenge ended with a whimper last night — 995,000 national viewers.

ABC is not looking very healthy on this poll. Perhaps if they broadened their approach and stopped harping on and on about the same tired old subjects and gave alternative views it would help.
