Is News Ltd having discussions with Sky News about becoming involved in the Sky Business Report?
After
getting rid of the Palamedia connection earlier in the year and absorbing some
staff, but not presenters David Koch
and Michael Pascoe, Sky indicated it would struggle on until the end of the
financial year and then look at options.
Well,
I hear there have been discussions with News about options, one of which could
see selected News Ltd business journos doing regular commentary spots
on Sky News each night.
Hopefully,
its nothing as silly as getting News Ltd to handle the Sky
Business Report – there’s no-one at News who could do TV, despite
several people having ambitions that exceed their screen tests.
