Seven easily won the night in metro and regional markets in total people and all the major demos with My Kitchen Rules again dominating the night. Nine was its now usual weak second, with Ten lifting from the weak Sunday and Monday nights. MKR saw its national audience climb back above 2 million, while the metro audience jumped back above 1.4 million. Nine’s Married At First Sight averaged a solid 1.246 million, but again wasted itself against MKR, which 800,000 more national viewers. Apart from that it was a boring night (the swimming from Adelaide on seven attracted a good 669,000 national audience). But that was it, not a night to remember.

The top programs in regional markets were: MKR with 629,000; Home and Away with 531,000; The Chase Australia 5.30, 444,000; Nine News, 409,000 and ABC News, 367,000.

Today won metro breakfast with 347,000 to 309,000 for Sunrise.
