In the late 1980s the then principal of Melbourne’s respected Methodist Ladies College, David Loader, introduced his students to laptop computers. This was a world first.

Much has happened in the hectic interface between education and technology since, but Loader’s views on the role technology can play in education remain challenging and ahead of the curve.
