Extraordinary coincidence … or a case of great minds thinking alike?
The Sydney Morning Herald’s Radar section editor Joel Gibson told Crikey this morning that he’d never even heard of Australian Anthill magazine, which hit the newsstands two weeks before Radar came out with its “Aussiewood” cover in Wednesday’s SMH.
But in any case, the concept actually dates back to a 2004 book by Michaela Boland and Michael Bodey called Aussiewood about how Australia’s leading actors and directors have conquered Hollywood.
