Guess who’s playing an ever
increasing role in the community in Sydney’s southern suburbs? Pauline
Hanson. Crikey is told that she is a regular presence at Sutherland
Shire Rotary functions – a sometimes speaker who does charity work.
That’s a good starting point for a run at parliament. But where will
Hanson aim? Her go at the NSW Legislative Council in 2003 flopped. Will
she aim to knock off Liberal Bruce Baird, the MHR for Cook? Or is she less patient? If Hanson’s going to run, will the Liberal for Cronulla, Malcolm Kerr, be her target at the NSW state election in March 2007?
