My attention
had actually been diverted by a little-known (or so I thought!)
Australian political gossip website called Crikey whose staff were
clearly having a seriously slow news week that they published an
article on me! If you didn’t read it there (like most of Minter Ellison
seemed to!), or in the Hun, Courier Mail, SMH, the Times or Financial Times,
you didn’t miss much. Neither did a journalist friend of mine – you
know who you are! – who sought my “comments” on the attack! My response
was the inevitable “no comment.” As much as I am normally a complete
attention-seeker, all this was unwanted. Thanks so much to all those
who sent me supportive emails/texts throughout that time.
