The Winners: Packed To The Rafters on Seven at 8.30pm averaged 1.959 million people to win the night, Find My Family at 8pm, 1.785 million. The Zoo at 7.30pm, 1.576 million. Seven News, 1.358 million, All Saints at 9.30pm, 1.309 million, Home and Away at 7pm for Seven, 1.266 million and Today Tonight at 6.30pm a low 1.190 million — the top Seven all on Channel Seven. Nine’s 7pm repeat of Two and a Half Men at 7pm averaged 1.162 million in 8th spot; Ten’s repeat of NCIS at 8.30pm, 1.151 million was 9th. A Current Affair was 10th with 1.125 million, Nine News 11th with 1.121 million and the 7pm ABC News averaged 1.061 million for 12th and final spot.

The Losers: Rush, 883,000 on Ten at 9.30pm. Another night next year might help add viewers. We said goodbye to Kenny’s World, or rather 805,000 viewers did on Ten at 8pm last night. NCIS was a repeat on Ten: 1.151 million. That’s not a loser, but we viewers are because it was a repeat. The Chopping Block on Nine at 7.30pm: 902,000 viewers means almost at break-even, but the opposition on Seven is too strong and the program itself is flawed.

News & CA: Seven News and Today Tonight won nationally, but both lost Melbourne with very weak performances. Today Tonight (285,000) and ACA, 263,000 were very weak in Sydney last night. The 7.30 Report averaged 838,000 nationally last night. Lateline, 266,000, Lateline Business, 157,000. Ten News, 780,000, the late News/Sports Tonight, 492,000. 6.30pm SBS News, 152,000, Insight at 7.30pm, 228,000; 9.30pm News, 158,000. 7am Sunrise on Seven. 368,000, 7am Today, 320,000 and three spots behind Sunrise, the closest they have been for yonks. Foreign Correspondent on the ABC at 9.30pm, 506,000.

The Stats: Seven won 6am to midnight across the board with a share in All People of 36.2% (36.9%), from Nine with 24.1% (23.3%), Ten with 20.9%, (21.0%), the ABC with 15.0% (14.2%) and SBS with 3.8% (4.6%). Seven won in all five metro markets and leads the week again 31.0% to 27.4% for Nine. In regional areas a big win as well with Prime/7Qld on 38.4%, WIN/NBN on 21.1%, Southern Cross (ten) on 19.8%, the ABC, 14.5% and SBS with 6.1%.

Glenn Dyer’s comments: Tuesday night and its Seven’s night, again. Pity about Monday’s which was also a good night to watch Seven. Last night was a solid end to end performance. There’s nothing more to be said. Tonight it’s Spicks & Specks on the ABC at 8.30pm and not much else: Criminal Minds (the fresh episode at 8.30pm) on Seven. Nine returns The Mentalist to 8.30pm and then CSI New York at 9.30pm Three episodes of Two and a Half Men, all repeats. fresh House, fresh Life on Ten after The Big Cat Diary. Ten will struggle. Newstopia on SBS at 10.05pm and The Cook and The Chef on the ABC at 6.30pm are both worth a look.
