Well, opprobrium where opprobrium is due. We deal it out and so we should take it too. The week began with Crikey under fire in the unfortunate matter of Obama Puppy Gate.
We won’t go over the detail, plenty of alternative reading on the matter exists elsewhere, most recently on Australian Conservative today.
Suffice to say, we are worthy winners.

Well that wasn’t very nice of Crikey!
I made the mistake of following the link to “Australian Conservative”, then more mistakenly reading some of the comments.
Any link like that deserves some sort of warning – something along the lines of “WARNING: FANATIC DRIVEL AHEAD”.
And it was such a nice afternoon till then…
Crikey was indeed at egregious fault, which was noted at the time.
However, like you, Charlie, I followed the links and, to my bemusement, read that Andrew Bolt positioned Crikey as ‘ far- Left’.
Perhaps if Bolt weren’t so tall, dark and handsome I’d care less!
